In the Destination box ensure that PCM is the only box clickedĬlick on Bounce and the process should take around a minuteĬonnect iPad to iMac by USB and If iTunes doesn't open automatically then open it manually In the Where dropdown menu choose where you want to save the file Go to File>Bounce and make sure that the Start and End bars are correctĬhange the ‘Save As’ text from Output 1-2 to the name of the song Make a note of the bar number of the end of the song Make sure you mute any tracks you don’t want to be exported by clicking the M buttons Open up Logic on your Mac and open the file you want to export into Garageband I have simplified this as well as I can to also try and help newbies to Logic/Garageband
This is NOT as straightforward as one would expect! However it can be done, and this is howĤ. However, you can export 'Bounces' into Garageband as a single track Audio Fileģ. You cannot (currently) export Logic files into Garageband (as of 24th May 2013)Ģ. I searched the web and found plenty of information on how to import tracks created on GarageBand into Logic Pro, but lots of contradicting and generally unhelpful posts on exporting from Logic Pro to GarageBand, so here is what I hope is a clear 'what you can and can't do.ġ. I wanted to use Garageband on my iPad to record audio tracks over projects created on Logic Pro when I'm away from my iMac.
